Whether engaging with you as a coach, trusted advisor or strategic counsel, constructive collaboration around a client-led agenda is undertaken to foster greater clarity, momentum, and resilience. My motivation is to build client comfort, be a thoughtful sounding board and perspective multiplier, strengthen the pause before action, and anchor accountability.
A trusted advisor and coach, I draw on decades of professional and personal experience with business and political leaders, academics, and policy-makers, in Europe, the U.S. and Africa. My clients benefit from my unique behind-the-scenes understanding of the realities of leadership and managing change. My strengths include strategic and situational counsel, high-level stakeholder engagement, presentation, crisis management, and leading from behind. I have coached leaders in healthcare, law, venture capital, government relations/lobbying, banking, and tech.
A bilingual, U.S./U.K. national, attorney, and accredited mediator; my career began as counsel with the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee. Alongside executive coaching, I am a founding member of a VC fund and non-executive director. I hold degrees from Columbia Law School and Georgetown University and am a Meyler Campbell accredited business coach. In my spare moments, I write and play the flute.
I ended feeling that I had a clear sense of what I needed to do and like I was beginning to understand myself more... to me, that makes Annette a great coach.
It was helpful because there is trust and no judgment, so I can say what’s going through my head that I might not actively discuss with anyone else, and at the end, I feel like I’ve yielded valuable insight, self-awareness, conclusions and action steps.
Gives perspective on how to tackle the seemingly unattainable goals.
The sessions with Annette have always been very fruitful and thought provoking. She has helped me to navigate through some work issues and challenges and helped me to find clarity with my goals.
